Flexcar Gas Saver is our newest exclusive membership benefit! As a valued Flexcar member, you’re automatically enrolled in this exciting program, which helps you save up to 30¢ per gallon at a Sunoco near you. No extra steps required—just fill up at any participating Sunoco station and watch the savings add up!

 

How it Works:

1. Find a station

Use the Gas Saver tab in the mobile app to find participating stations. All Sunoco locations are included.

2. Fuel up

Pay at the pump as usual. Our connected car system will automatically confirm you're at an eligible station and track gallons fueled.

3. Enjoy your savings

You'll get a text within 15 minutes confirming your discount, which will be credited to your next monthly bill - no extra steps!

Do I need to sign up for Flexcar Gas Saver™?

No, Flexcar Gas Saver is automatically available to all Flexcar members! There’s no separate sign-up required.

 

How do I know which gas stations are participating in the Flexcar Gas Saver™program? 

Currently we are partnering with Sunoco. Head to the My Flexcar app and click Gas Saver to find where the closest Sunoco station is to you.

 

How are my savings applied? 

Your savings are automatically credited to your next monthly bill! 

 

Will we be adding other gas station brands?

Flexcar Gas Saver is only available at Sunoco stations.  

 

Is there a limit to how much I can save with Flexcar Gas Saver™?

No! There is no limit to how many times you can use the Flexcar Gas Saver program, but the per-gallon discount is fixed based on the station location. To find out how much you can save, head to the My Flexcar app and click the Gas Saver tab to find the discounted stations near you. 

 

How will I know if I received a discount?

After fueling at a participating station, you will receive a text message from Flexcar confirming the savings you received from your fill up. You can also visit the Flexcar app to see your savings. Your pending reward credit will show as part of your total lifetime savings.

 

What if I don’t get a confirmation text?

If you don’t receive a confirmation text or see the savings applied to your bill, please visit the ? icon in the Gas Saver tab of the mobile app to get help or submit feedback and our team will reach out to you. If you still have your receipt, snap a picture of it and add it to the form so our team can take a closer look.

 

How do you know where my car is located and how many gallons have been filled up?

Flexcar uses a secure connected car system to automatically understand your vehicle's GPS and fuel levels. This helps us calculate your gas savings when you fill up at partnering stations and automatically apply your savings!

 

What if I cancel my membership before the following invoice?

If you cancel your membership or return your car before your next monthly invoice, your Gas Saver credits will be forfeited.

 

How do you know my car is low on fuel?

Our connected car systems monitor fuel levels. You will see fuel percentages on the home tab of your Flexcar app. There you can monitor your fuel level and start planning your next trip to a Gas Saver station!

 

What if I don’t see my savings reflected in my next billing cycle? 

Contact Flexcar by selecting the ? icon on the Gas Saver tab. You will be directed to fill out a form to explain your issue in more detail so our team can investigate.
