At checkout, Flexcar charges the car’s monthly rate, your chosen protection plan, your selected mileage plan, local tax, and a one-time refundable deposit if applicable. After the two-week free trial, Flexcar charges the separate $249 annual membership fee. On each monthly renewal date, Flexcar bills the upcoming monthly rate and tax, plus applicable charges accrued during the previous month.

## What does Flexcar billing include?

Flexcar billing consists of a monthly rate and an annual membership fee.

The monthly rate covers the vehicle, your mileage plan, and your protection plan. Rates vary based on vehicle type, member profile, and market conditions.

The annual Flexcar membership costs $249 per year and covers maintenance and roadside assistance. The annual membership begins with a free two-week trial. If you are not 100% satisfied, return the car within the first two weeks.

## What will I pay at checkout?

When you place your order, you will pay for:

## What will I be charged after the two-week trial?

After the two-week free trial, Flexcar charges the separate $249 annual membership fee. This fee covers one year.

If you keep your Flexcar for longer than one year, Flexcar will automatically charge the annual membership fee again for the next year.

## What will I be charged each month?

Flexcar invoices you monthly on your renewal date. Your renewal date is the date you picked up or received the vehicle.

Each monthly bill includes:

*   The monthly rate and tax for the upcoming month.
    
*   Applicable tolls, fines, and traffic violations accrued during the previous month.
    

## How are mileage overages billed?

Overage miles are billed separately as they occur. Most overage miles are billed in 100-mile increments. Overage miles for the Low Mileage plan are billed in 200-mile increments.

## What happens to unused miles?

Unused miles roll over to the next month. Any unused miles expire when you return the vehicle, and Flexcar does not provide refunds for unused miles.

## Where can I find my monthly receipt?

Flexcar emails your receipt each month. Your receipt is also available on your [Account page](http://flexcar.com/account).
